This role focused on Quantitative Statistical Methodologies, assisting students with topics such as Maths for Science and Bioengineering, as well as data management and analysis. We offered drop-in support on experiment design and helped students apply statistical techniques using tools like R and SPSS. This involved guiding students through data analysis, troubleshooting coding issues, and advising on best practices for statistical modeling and experiment design.

Conducted computer lab sessions for Master's students, taught R Studio for data analysis and visualization, guided students through practical exercises using various real-world datasets, applying data science techniques such as data cleaning, manipulation, and statistical modelling. Collaboration with a third-year Bioengineering student, supporting her research project focused on developing a bioengineered model of vascularized human skeletal muscle. This primarily involved conducting hands-on lab work, where I trained and assisted her in various cell and tissue culture techniques, including the cultivation of vascular spheroids and human skeletal muscle cells. Guiding through the experimental process, helping to optimize conditions for cell growth, tissue formation, and co-culture techniques. Additionally, data collection, analysis, and interpretation, working closely with her supervisor to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of results.
