Lead an incredible team of 16 creative and passionate thinkers responsible for strategic planning, capital planning, major corridors planning, operations planning & scheduling, and sustainability & environmental planning for SamTrans. We plan everything from four near-term service changes per year, to transformative busway projects 10 (or fewer!) years out, to how SamTrans fits into the region's transit network in 2050.

Manage a small but mighty team in planning and implementing strategic projects related to bus network improvements, capital and infrastructure investments, customer experience and engagement, and fare programs for SamTrans.I also served as Acting Director of Planning Dec 2022-July 2023.

Led the US-101 Express Bus Feasibility Study, US-101 Mobility Action Plan, and Reimagine SamTrans projects, among other special projects related to fare pilot programs and bus route implementation.

I was proud to work at Nelson\Nygaard, a renowned values-based firm, planning transportation exclusively for public and private sector clients with equitable and sustainable goals. My sample projects included regional and community transit planning for City of Palo Alto and all night workers throughout the Bay Area, youth mobility planning for San Mateo County, TDM plan development and evaluation for Stanford Health Care and Alta Bates Hospital, car share feasibility analysis for Sonoma County, and grant writing to achieve project funding for the City of Sacramento. I also served in a seconded role at SamTrans as the project manager on the US-101 Express Bus Feasibility Study.
