I'm Clinton Mills, the CEO and Co-Founder of Hitcents, Spartan Cyber Services, and Chairman of the Board of NFTY, Inc. With the help of my twin brother Chris Mills, we started Hitcents in 1999 as a high school students. The business was founded as an online marketing firm, but quickly expanded its services in other areas of technology. After graduation, I received an Entrepreneur Scholarship to Western Kentucky University that included rent-free office space for Hitcents. I attended WKU from 2002 until 2004,but then decided to focus all my time on Hitcents. After 20 years with Hitcents, I believe that to truly be successful in work and in life you MUST surround yourself with other smart, talented and passionate people. After taking point on helping a local business recover from a ransomware attack, we recognized a market need in the area for Cyber Security and sought to fulfill that need. Our team has 30+ years of combined network security experience, protecting clients from both existing threats and emergent security challenges. We assist entrepreneurs, startups and small to mid-size businesses in a variety of sectors, including retail, finance, technology and more.In 2021, my brother and I, with the help of others, saw an opportunity to make a contribution to the Non-Fungible Token and Crypto space by founding, with the help of others, a new token called NFTY. NFTY creates an NFT reputation layer that uses staking and farming activities to crowdsource reputation data. The process leverages economic incentives and rewards, funded from 7.5% of the final payout from any NFT auction which uses the protocol. The reward is distributed to a pool of “endorsers”, or “advocates”, in proportion to their respective allocations in NFTY tokens.
