Helping to provide advice and guidance within the school in line with the new Gatsby Benchmarks. Working closely with Year 10-13. Attending Maidstone and Kent CEIAG meetings, working closely with KCC on NEET students. Areas of work covered include Traineeships, Apprenticeships, UCAS applications, attending career fairs, developing client relationships and working closely with training providers, colleges and universities such as Princes Trust, NCS, Catch 22, MidKent College, Canterbury Christ Church University and The University of Kent, Kent & Medway Progression Federation among others. Other responsibilities of work include developing our outreach activities with primary schools, work experience, managing Focus Days for years 8 upwards.

I returned to Laing O'Rourke on a contract to help the HR Team and Employee Relations with the task of organising and administering over two hundred grievance hearings in relation to the change in law for weekly holiday pay.
