GirlBoss Edge: Primary Industries Edition is a highly selective leadership accelerator programme for high school aged young women. Through this 10 day programme, I underwent high-level leadership training and received transformative mentoring from New Zealand's leading primary industry professionals. I worked in collaboration with the Ministry for Primary Industries to solve real world problems through the 'MPI Challenge'. Through this incredible, life-changing, experience I have been motivated and energised to continue to create change and innovate in the primary sector.

I am currently working toward Silver which is the second level of the Award. There are three specific sections—Voluntary Service, Skills and Physical Recreation—that you'll choose your activities from, plus an Adventurous Journey to complete.

My voluntary service was volunteering at The Environment Centre, my skill was being a member of Coro Notable a top school choir, and my physical recreation was dancing at Sophie Jean Dance Company.
