I graduated university studying International Events Management with Marketing at the University of Brighton with an undergraduate degree. My interest in this field is very high and has increased after studying this degree, I am specifically interested in the planning and organisation of travelling and events. Being a university student has enabled me to adapt quickly to changes and gain a more broader perspective. Additionally, I have faced challenged which has allowed me to better my time management skills, working well within a team as well as independently and better communication skills both verbally and written. In the past, I have experience in planning and successfully running an online ticketed charity event which raised money for Chestnut Tree House. This allowed me to gain awareness of the processes that are involved when putting on an event, including budgeting, risk assessments, social media marketing, data analysis and reflective reporting. Recently, I worked as part of a team to help develop a consultancy project for 'So Sussex', a local events and festivals company. This has helped to increase my professional skills as well as get an insight of how a company within my interest runs and organises their events. I believe that the skills that I have attained from the dynamic environment and competitive university life define me and I am looking forward to implementing them in any opportunity I receive.
