I worked for SciGenom Labs Pvt. Ltd as a "Bioinformatics Scientist". My company focused on providing genomic sequencing and bioinformatics services to life-science and healthcare industries as well as academic and government institutions. I was managing a team that involves de-novo genome sequencing & annotation and de-novo transcriptome analysis.

I worked in Tata Consultancy Services Limited as an "Associate Consultant" in Life Sciences. Here I have primarily provided input for business development. Further I contributed my domain knowledge towards parallel TopHat; a tool to align RNA-Seq data against whole genome.

I was working in Computational Research Laboratories Limited (CRL) as a Scientist in Health & Life Sciences Group, A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of TATA Sons Limited, Pune. CRL was acquired by Tata Consultancy Services Limited on August, 2012. CRL was providing "High Performance Computing" services and I learned the same during my stay. Initially I was working on data parallelization for Blast and Smith-Waterman algorithms. Later I worked on "Identification of candidate genes for bread making qualities in wheat by synteny studies" using bioinformatics approach. Further I was involved in parallelizing Velvet (a de novo genome assembler) and creating pipelines for NGS data analysis.
