As a part of Computer Architecture Operating System Interface group in BSC, working on the novel many-core architectures for future Critical Real-Time Embedded Systems. Responsibilities: Development of hardware and software techniques to support the use of many-core processors in Hard Real-Time Embedded Systems and their implementation within cycle-accurate SoCLib simulation framework (SystemC/C++).Research on time-predictable networks on chip, hardware and software support for execution of critical real-time parallel applications on many-core processors, automated parallelization of legacy automotive code, allocation of parallel applications to the many-core, etc.Design and development of multi-core simulation platforms (SystemC/C++), adaptation and debugging the industrial case studies for execution on top of the simulation platforms (C/C++/gdb), implementation of no-overhead instrumentation mechanism (C++), implementation of a subset of routines of ARINC653 standard needed by collision avoidance case study(C++), implementation of tools for mapping real-time parallel applications on many-core, etc.
