I became well versed in topics including but not limited to the Massachusetts lemon law, the consumer protection act (93a), landlord/tenant rights, shopping rights, identity theft and scams. My duties included:- Responding to calls, emails, and letters from consumers regarding a wide range of issues. - Participating in regular meetings to discuss consumer protection issues and develop responsive initiatives. - Researching consumer protection issues. - Producing Infographics for social media outreach.- Interacting with senior and mid-level government officials. - Assisting with day-to-day functions including but not limited to: daily mail delivery and retrieval, reception desk coverage, and voicemail retrieval. - Assisting with the administration function of the Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) program. - Attending and participating in consumer outreach events and special projects as scheduled.
