My practice primarily focused on the privacy and security of health information. I assisted companies with navigating state and federal health information privacy and security laws. I regularly advised clients on compliance with the HIPAA privacy, security, and breach notification requirements and with investigating, managing, and recovering from security incidents and data breaches. I worked with a broad range of health industry companies, including healthcare providers, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, health information technology companies and financial institutions.

Assisted senior counsel in the acquisition of a healthcare analytic software solutions company, including the due diligence, business integration and education, and contracting.
