Manage two Payroll Tax Accountants.Ensure Payroll Tax department is in compliance with federal, state, and local taxing agencies.Balance and transmit daily/quarterly/annual tax files to ADP.Review and correct daily/quarterly/annual ADP tax discrepancies.Exercise strong organizational and problem solving skills to resolve complex issues.Coordinate discrepancy corrections with ADP Account Manager.Prepare monthly ADP Impound Reconciliation reports.Ensure ADP’s invoices balanced against company’s bank withdrawals.Balance monthly tax liability report to ADP’s monthly deposit detail report.Spearhead the implementation of PA Act 32.Review and correct items on Tax History Integrity Reports.Update tax areas for business units in JDEdwards. Assist with implementation of numerous acquisitions and data conversions.Provide guidance to field representatives on correcting employees’ payroll tax discrepancies.Respond to inquiries on historical tax issues and write effective communications to successfully abate assessed penalties and interests.Post Payroll Batches to General Ledger.Update SUI tax tables.Work with IT Department to update specifications on ADP Periodic and Quarterly tax files.Prepare tax files for quarter and annual reconciliations.Gather information and respond to requests for tax data needed for internal and external audits.Serve as back-up for Payroll Tax Director.Work with Payroll Processing Manager to resolve processing discrepancies.Coordinate efforts of teambuilding.
