Newly graduated pharmacist from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, I'm always seeking to deepen my understanding of my work subjects and I strive for excellence in everything I do. I have previously worked in the Quality Control department of a large national pharmaceutical industry for 1 year, both as an Intern and as a Junior Analyst.During my undergraduate studies, I became passionate about chemistry and as I engaged in Scientific Initiation and Teaching Assistant activities, which involved, respectively, physical-chemical analysis of food and medications, I also developed an interest in the pharmaceutical industry. This, in turn, led me to co-found an academic league on the subject with some colleagues.Throughout my time at the Laboratório Cristália, I’ve showed a strong technical and theoretical knowledge of analytical techniques such as UV-Vis, IR, Atomic Absorption and Emission Spectroscopy; Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC); aqueous and non-aqueous, reduction, and moisture determination Titration; and Particle Size by Laser Diffraction, both wet and dry methods.In general, the main analyses performed were assays, identification, and purity of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Excipients, and Finished Products. I also conducted physical-chemical and dimensional analyses of packaging materials. In addition, I critically evaluated analysis reports for batch release, taking the opportunity to delve into the regulations related to my activities, such as RDC 301/2019 (updated by RDC 658/2022), RDC 53/2015, Brazilian Pharmacopoeia (FB6), and United States Pharmacopeia (USP42).Concurrently with these activities and studies, I completed the course "Impurities and Degradation Products - Impurities and Forced Degradation Studies" by USP Education, which provided a foundation for a deeper understanding of the theoretical and regulatory aspects of forced and accelerated degradation studies.Currently, having completed my undergraduate studies, I am actively seeking opportunities in the areas of the pharmaceutical industry that truly captivate me: Quality Control, Analytical Development, and Regulatory Affairs.
