Encouraging the greater East Bay community to enjoy our public areas via programming, community partnerships and direct access. Hands on responsibilities include co-directing EBRPD’s seasonal Day Camp, and managing EBRPD’s year round Community Partnerships. When your personal interest align with your work environment great things happen.

I oversee field local outreach and field marketing strategy for T-Mobile corporate in the Bay Area Market. Responsible for calendar curation, sponsorship & partnership management, event sourcing, contract negotiation, event equipment management, budget management, and a full time team of 5 to deploy into the field.Also coordinate and align local efforts with HQ initiatives, promos, etc. to amplify messaging, physical presences (pre COVID) and maximize the available local resources.

During my time as Oaklandish's Community Coordinator, I served as the primary liaison for all things community and partnership related. I oversaw an annual grant programs - The Oaklandish Innovator Awards - and all nonprofit partnerships. I also had the opportunity to work with Oaklandish's creative director and design department to coordinate marketing campaigns seasonally (normally around new releases, web changes, our event calendar, etc). I was also able to contribute in marketing via the curating of Oaklandish's bi-monthly e-newsletter (reach ~15k) and the coordinated social media campaigns (reach of IG is roughly 60k, twitter 40k) and I wrote all copy for the Oaklandish Blog. A personal favorite aspect of being Community Coordinator was the facilitation of Oaklandish's in-store events. Oaklandish is a special place for community, and to directly impact the community-oriented dynamic was an amazing experience. All in all, I helped organize a plethora of events including blood drives, nonprofit spotlights, music performances, art exhibits, lecture series, larger launch parties (often at other venues) and even some children's art activities.Prior to my time as Community Coordinator, I served as the mobile operations lead, meaning I oversaw all aspect of non-retail point of sales (festivals, airport popup, etc.) throughout the calendar year.

Essentially coached year round, changing sports with the seasons. Football in the fall and Rugby in the spring and summer. Worked with young men and women aged 14-18.

Co-directed a youth aged summer camp through the Youth Programs subdivision of UC Berkeley's Re creations department. this was a seasonal position, I have worked at Blue Camp for 5 out of 7 summers in various capacities, this being then most recent position.
