I am an experienced business and corporate attorney focusing my practice on providing legal, business and strategic advisory services for businesses, business owners, commercial real estate ventures, estates, trusts, tax, bank and corporate clients. My work includes advising owners, investors, shareholders and their companies, on matters of formation, organization, operation, growth, estate and succession planning. As such my advisory services also include investor relations, strategic planning, and exit strategies as well as individual estate, trust and tax planning. In addition to my legal experience, I have been a founding organizer and director of two successful Maryland State Chartered, Federal Reserve Member commercial banks as well as various other business and real estate ventures in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan and Maryland markets over the past forty years. I served as Chairman of the Board of CommerceFirst Bank and Commerce First Bancorp in Annapolis, Maryland from 2000 to 2012. As such I bring a unique perspective as both an attorney and as a hands-on entrepreneur, organizer, owner and operator of businesses, banking and real estate ventures.
