As the editor and manager of Khoury News, I field and assign stories, edit content, direct a staff of freelance writers, and serve as the link between the writers and the larger Marketing division.

I write longform stories that highlight the academic and professional achievements of Khoury students and faculty. This involves interviewing subjects, researching topics, and balancing journalistic storytelling with PR and marketing needs.

I serve as a PxP announcer, color analyst, and sideline reporter for NESN, ESPN, and FloSports broadcasts of Northeastern basketball, hockey, baseball, volleyball, soccer, field hockey, and swim/dive.

I serve as a play-by-play broadcaster for men's and women's basketball, hockey, and soccer, as well as baseball, softball, and volleyball. This includes on-camera segments and interviews with coaches.I also occasionally serve as a PA announcer.

I assist students (HS, undergrad, grad) and professionals with class papers, application essays, professional writing, and other types of writing. This includes both editor-for-hire-type solo editing and one-on-one tutoring. I work as a sideline reporter for Boston City TV's "Game of the Week" football and basketball broadcasts. This involves researching teams, delivering live reports during games, coordinating with the other broadcasters and production staff, and interviewing players and coaches.

I directed the sports division of WRBB, Northeastern University's radio station. I coordinated with athletics comm staff from multiple schools, scheduled coverage, represented our division on WRBB's exec board, and took a leading role in broadcast and written coverage.

I edited 275+ posts for wrbbsports.com, including game stories, analysis pieces, and game/season previews for Northeastern basketball, baseball, and hockey. Besides editing the articles, I selected pictures for each, built multimedia posts in WordPress, and maintained the website.

I wrote 110+ articles for wrbbsports.com, typically 600–1500 words depending on the importance of the game. Most were game stories I wrote after games I broadcasted, others were season previews, analysis pieces, retrospectives, or other reported pieces.

I broadcasted Northeastern basketball, baseball, and hockey for radio as a play-by-play voice, a color analyst, and a solo broadcaster. I called games from more than 20 different venues, and participated in pregame, halftime/intermission, and postgame coverage.

I edited every article that we published (125+), worked one-on-one with writers to finalize pieces, and helped them hash out and organize their ideas at the outset. I also managed the editorial board, spearheaded the design and production of our print magazines, and created an extensive style and process guide to standardize our editing procedures.

I wrote longform pieces (typically 1500–4000 words) on a variety of political topics, with many focusing on how the rules of political engagement — voting laws, term limits, presidential debates, etc — impacted fairness and outcomes.

Similar responsibilities to Editor-in-Chief, just a somewhat smaller amount of work and decisions. Editing focused on accurate sourcing and writing quality.

I worked with our featured columnists to produce well-argued, well-written, thematically consistent column articles on their chosen topic. The articles were often featured in print as well as online.

I gained the most experience as a basketball referee, with some volleyball, softball, soccer, dodgeball, ultimate, and kickball thrown in. This also included registration and scorekeeping duties.When I became a supervisor, I was tasked with overseeing the other referees on each shift, with a focus on helping them develop through verbal/written feedback and physical shadowing.

I led multiple age groups, directed counselors-in-training, planned and organized activities, and assisted with administrative tasks.

I researched, wrote, laid out, and edited infographics and other content for the company's blog. These posts were primarily targeted toward the external financial professionals who sold the company's investment products, and thus played both an informational and marketing role.

I helped the media staff with material distribution and press conference tasks during the team's 2018 World Series run.
