Preconstruction Manager
Current+ Perform the project estimating as well as handle all communication between the firm and the client during pre-construction phase of the project. + Analyze entire project viability from a financial standpoint to a scheduling standpoint to determine is the project is worth taking on. + Conduct detailed, in depth analysis of new construction projects and coordinate the scope of work with field supervisors. + Review and execute contracts with clients, vendors and other sub contractors. + Develop project schedule and critical path to achieve target milestones. + Create overall project budget and track direct labor and material costs using data from weekly progress reports. + Implement cost-saving strategies to improve project cash flow, such as utilizing cloud storage for company-wide document management reducing associated printing costs by over 85%. + Coordinate company logistics with other project managers including directing field personnel and scheduling material deliveries across multiple projects spanning different states. + Manage project workflow to maximize efficiency by prioritizing tasks and streamlining communication within team.
