Co-founded Blue Inti LLC with a mission to explore and prototype solutions that make use of emergent technologies to positively impact society and environment. At present, Blue Inti is focused on climate change solutions that interconnect IoT, blockchain, GIS, and risk management technologies.

Mr. Valenzuela is a change agent who works with senior leadership to develop and execute data-driven delivery strategies that align with Ventera's core offerings in Product/Program Management, UX/CX, DevSecOps, and Data Architecture.Responsible for the delivery success of a portfolio of 30+ products and service lines, company-wide (250+ people), across commercial and government business units.

Mr. Valenzuela leads Ventera’s Office of Delivery Excellence, a corporate entity focused on relentlessly improving the delivery of a portfolio of 30+ products and service lines, company-wide (250+ people), across commercial and government business units. Under Mr. Valenzuela’s leadership, the office defines and oversees programs/products delivery and compliance to technical and operational standards, best practices, and protocols, aimed at continuously improving customer and end-user delight, team morale, operational efficiency & readiness, and resolution of challenges.

Mr. Valenzuela led Ventera’s account and program development efforts associated to Blanket Purchase Agreements (e.g., USDA-FPAC with a ceiling of over $580M). He collaborated with external and internal stakeholders in aligning people, process, and products to the technology transformation vision of multiple agencies. This included the evolution of DevSecOps /HCD practices, Agile development, systems modernization paradigms, and cloud agnostic architecture. Additionally, Mr. Valenzuela spearheaded business development lifecycle improvements that included pipeline opportunity prioritization and CRM modernization through the deployment and usage of Salesforce in critical business processes.

Mr. Valenzuela led a large-scale program aimed at re-designing and re-developing quality and evaluation enterprise systems for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. Legacy desktop and mainframe systems that support more than 3.5 billion clinical assessments per month across 60+ federal and state agencies and hundreds of thousands of health service providers, were replaced by a greenfield web-based system that follows SAFe, User Center Design principles, and the Digital Services Playbook. The new system is AWS based and API/Open Source/Microservices First. Mr. Valenzuela headed the program organization (130+ people), defining processes and supervising the work of a team of four product managers and fourteen cross-functional scrum teams. The organization was composed of user researchers, UI designers, content strategists, business analysts, architects, developers, data engineers, security, DevOps, and quality experts.

Responsible for managing all aspects of an IT Enterprise Systems Program. Leads multiple teams that focus on:a) Agile Product Development. In charge of overhauling a web enterprise software used for ordering/procurement/financial transactions totaling over $5 billion dollars per year. The new system is open source, mobile responsive, and fully developed and deployed in AWS FedRAMP certified cloud.b) Operations and Modernization of IT systems. Includes SharePoint site collections, legacy procurement and ordering systems, and integrations with Salesforce (CRM and HelpDesk), HubSpot, Tableau, and Drupal systems.

Co-founded Syndeste LLC (acquired by Allstate) with a vision to make it a catalyst of a new era in the understanding of natural hazards and their associated risks, through the intelligent use of geospatial technologies, big data analytics, and open source data. Served in the roles of LLC Manager (2013 – 1/2016) and CEO (5/2015 – 11/2015) focusing on: • Product Development and market-fit, which produced Syndeste’s flagship product, Beyond Floods (www.beyondfloods.com), a consumer and enterprise solution applicable to insurance, real estate, financial, and government organizations. • Building Consulting Services, providing unique flood risk analytics, insurance, and communication solutions.• Managing all aspects of business operations: marketing, sales, engineering & research, finance, accounting, human resources, public relations, etc.

Project and Task Order manager for Federal, State, and Local IDIQ engineering and consulting contracts. Directly responsible for execution and P/L of more than 40 projects, all of them delivered meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality, while always exceeding client’s expectations. The projects included:• Large Scale Flood Mapping. Incorporating Water Resources Engineering and GIS on federally funded multi-million dollar projects with a diverse team of engineers, geographers, remote sensing specialists, and software developers.• GIS and Geospatial Engineering Development. Leading the full software development cycle of applications, extensions, and portals that utilize GIS as a framework for Water Resources Engineering and Data Modeling.• Enterprise Project Management Systems. Defining the technological and organizational PMO vision for complex EVM compliant information systems.• Knowledge Management Systems. Spearheading the implementation of wiki based collaboration systems woven in production systems.
