Last year, Ginkgo allowed 80 local partner association to strengthen their competences thanks to 150 volunteers. IECD is a French development assistance organisation which intervenes in 14 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, the MENA region, the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. In collaboration with its local partners, IECD has developed a network of Family Farm Schools in Cameroon, in Ivory Coast and in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The aim is to give young people in these communities a second chance to receive an appropriate education and foster entrepreneurship, thereby boosting the local economy by enhancing the value of agricultural jobs and expanding the use of new farming technologies.As a Family Farm School program coordinator support, I was in charge of writing grants for financial partners of the program. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: - Collected and analysed field data - Drove the updated of reporting and tracking toolsINSTITUTIONAL COMMUNICATION:- Designed notes (i.e: explicative note for French Ambassy in Ivory Coast) and communication tools- Drafted application grant and annual reports for private and institutional partners (program estimated at 3 million €)

During my studies I had the opportunity to do a gap year and I decided to travel to Madagascar for two reasons. On one hand, I wanted to discover a new country and a really different culture; on the other hand I wanted to discover the non-profit sector and the reality of the field.
