I am an emeritus professor of Mass Communication/Electronic Media at Wayne State College, Wayne, NE, USA. I am also commander of South Dakota Wing, Civil Air Patrol, the U.S. Air Force auxiliary.I led a Study Abroad program in Asia in 2013, spending ten weeks in Taiwan and Mainland China, and have visited Taiwan eight times.I remain active in scholarly work, with several recent manuscripts approved for peer-review publication, including several journal articles and book chapters on instructional design for use of technology in teaching, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and particularly using multimedia resources. I have presented conference papers in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Taiwan, and Hawaii, and have written two media criticism book chapters. I was advisor to the campus radio station and have taught Radio Production, Social Media Marketing, Photojournalism, Persuasion, Integrated Brand Promotion, Communication Law, and Film Criticism.
