I am a barista at a local bakery in my university city of Cardiff. I work hard making coffee and to ensure I provide our customers with a happy and friendly service. I work alongside other baristas to manage the cleanliness and aesthetic of shop enticing all customers that walk past. I have the responsibility to open and/or close the shop during my usual shift.

I was a crew member at Fat Face in my local city of Exeter (and in my local university city of Cardiff in term time) where I interact with a variety of customers by engaging and listening to any questions on clothing or shoes or general concerns about items purchased. By working alongside other crew members and mangers within the Fat Face team I have developed my understanding on customer service and my knowledge on items within store so I am able to pass on this knowledge to customers who may need help or advice. Every shift I continued to learn new skills that helps me develop into a helpful and approachable crew member for our customers to give them the best and friendliest experience when shopping with us.

I was a waitress at a local restaurant where I interacted with customers by listening to concerns and answering questions. By working alongside other waitresses and waiters as well as kitchen staff I have developed and learnt new skills to ensure the best service for our customers. Alongside waitressing I have had a year and a half experience of barista work behind the bar.
