She is continuously honing her craft. Regularly attending Master Classes for various spirits and wines, she is Certified in Canadian Whisky, Champagne, Wine, Sherry, Single Malt Scotch, Whiskey, Bourbon, Cognac, Aquavit, Rhum, Cachaca, Brandy, Calvados, Agave Spirits, Vodka, and Gin.She was an Inaugural Attendee of the first Campari "Wild Turkey: Behind the Barrel" 2014 National event. Mimi is the 2017 Champion of the Lunazul Tequila, "Fly me to the Moon" contest, with "The Perfect Day": a stirred non citrus Tequila cocktail.Mimi represented the New York City Chapter of the USBG at "Portland Cocktail Week" (PDXCW) in Oregon, October '13, an educational seminar for trending markets within the spirits industry. She attended, courtesy of Tanqueray Gin, who sponsored Mimi with her original "Holly.Go.Lightly" cocktail (a chai and black assam tea leaf infused gin with sweet vermouth and citrus). Focusing on the fine craft of the classic cocktail and providing a friendly atmosphere with excellent service is her signature. Mimi firmly believes in creating "crafted cocktails without pretension". She has worked multiple venues with different styles of bartending - from fine dining in North East Queens, to nightclubs and high volume Craft Cocktail bars in Manhattan, including "Porchlight Bar" in West Chelsea NYC- Danny Meyer's highly acclaimed first stand alone bar and "Monk McGinn's" in Tribeca, NYC where she created a 34 cocktail menu- including 26 originals.Mimi's original Cocktails have been published in the NY Times, magazines and many Cocktail Books.In October 2019, Mimi was a featured Mixologist at the annual Hawaiian Food and Wine Festival in Honolulu, HI.Mimi was an opening Team Member as Bartender at "Mercado Little Spain: Bar Celona".
