Junior Production Manager
CurrentI am responsible for ensuring the Features Department is managed in an efficient, cost-effective manner, all content produced is delivered to post production in a workable and timely fashion, and all show documents are accurately updated with any changes communicated to the relevant parties.I work closely with the Features Supervising Producer to ensure all deadlines are reached for the show each week. Working in a fast paced industry has enhanced my ability to problem solve logistics quickly without second guessing myself.I organise in-depth Longform Shoots and source both local and international crew on a weekly basis. I’m a team player and collaborate closely with Features Producers to bring the vision for their stories to life. I manage the budget tracking for Features Stories on the Show in a productive manner and report any high-budget stories to the Head of Production for approval. Working in this industry for a few years has made me highly conscious to how the budget should be spent in the Features Department. Managing the Features Department has been a wonderful experience and provided me with several skills in Broadcast Media Production.
