Data management of survey responces for research on COVID's impacts on private landowners of forest properties in the southeast US.

Collaborated with the National Forest Service to identify income tax benefits for agroforestry across all 50 states with intent to publish research article. Demonstrated strong project management skills and methodology with aims to provide valuable insights with the potential for impactful change.

Coursework: Forest Measurements, Silviculture, Fire Management, Forest Community and Plant Identification, and Wildlife Management. Studied and implemented timber cruise design, execution, and analysis. Started learning R-studio code and Python to use in model-assessment.

Practiced attention to detail and data management skills in manually collecting and inputting tree stand data into Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated strong research and analytical skills by synthesizing and evaluating relevant information from multiple research publications to identify key metrics for data collection. Collaborated with Stith Gower, a Jordan Family Distinguished Professor for Natural Resource Innovation, and a recipient of NCSU outstanding researcher award.
