A seasoned Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 11 years of expertise in the field of Electrical Engineering coupled with an additional 4 years of experience in Human Resource Management within the Electricity Utility sector in a senior managerial level and possess a unique blend of technical and management skills significant to the growth and efficiency of any organization in the energy sector. At present I am holding the post of Chief Electrical Engineer (Distribution Maintenance) Central Province 2 of Ceylon Electricity Board and responsible for overseeing medium voltage (33kV) maintenance and rehabilitation works of network exceeding 2000km, preparing and executing maintenance plans, managing contracts, ensuring proper material management, monitoring and controlling maintenance activities within set targets, and effectively coordinating with all stakeholders while executing special projects which demonstrate my abilities to handle complex tasks and manage resources efficiently. Additionally, I have experience in system planning, energy management, implementing Automated Metering Systems, and utilizing various energy measurement systems.
