About Min Ha (Michael) Kim

Since 2008 I have been involved in multiple government programs (NSW and Korea) to develop and grow the understanding of Korean culture in Australia through various cultural development tactics. The various roles that I held over the years within the programs were of consulting, interpreting and translating, and foreign media correspondent based.Over the years, I have also grabbed the opportunity to work with various other organizations seeking social, community, and sponsorship or government policy and program advice to assist in the betterment of their programs or events. Most of my works are with non-Korean people who would otherwise fall through the gaps due to limited Korean language capability within their organization to help them achieve their organization’s target and visionMy capability as a local media correspondent was recognized in 2014 when I was nominated as one of the finalist of Premier’s Multicultural Media Award – Young Journalist Award Category. For my overseas foreign correspondent skills, I was awarded the 2015 KOFICE (Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange) Best Overseas Correspondent AwardI have a strong interest in expanding my correspondence skills and community engagement skills by maintaining a keen interest in continuous learning in technology, further study and professional engagement programs.
