SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable including current job as an Accounts Payable Administrator in Aecon Group Inc.• Experience in business administration including employment within an import and export department in an international trading company in Beijing, China• A diploma in Business Administration from a Canadian training institute and a Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering • Extensive training on the most up-to-date computerized accounting programs offered by a well-known community college in Toronto• Experience in ERP (SAP) and advance level of general office packages, including MS Excel and PowerPoint• Solid background in accounting fundamentals; posting journal entries, preparing cheque runs, generating reports from system, etc.• Excellent attention to detail and able to work within a fast paced work environment; capable of working on multiple tasks and meeting deadlines RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE • Process all types of invoice including utility bills, cheque requisition, employee expense and credit cards in a timely manner with high level of accuracy• Process payment on a weekly basis or as required; send cheque registration and EFT to bank; trace payment status in bank website• Review employee expenses with company policies; verify the signatures according to LOA• Process subcontractor invoices with hold back deducting and hold back releasing• Reconcile vendor account using Excel and apply credit to the proper account• Maintain files in Share Point and manage hard copies for internal and external audit• Create intercompany bills and entries for intercompany back charge • Contact with vendors by emails or phone calls to maintain the payment process• Assist with internal and external audit• Generate month-end and quarter-end reports when required
