I also participated in the management of the company. One of my tasks is to take a specialized training program for staffs. For example, I gave several lessons about history of traditional Chinese furniture and furniture culture for the marketers. Firstly, I gathered relevant knowledge and made presentations by PPT when they were working. Then after their work, I showed PPT to them and explained points in details or by examples of the products they were familiar to. Finally, all of them should take a test about what I had said. What’s more, I also assisted them in technical improvement. Take the experiment of finishing effects for instance. To get the best finishing process of each kind of timber, I made three samples with each timber of four kinds and finished them with paint of different proportion. Finally, I analyzed the color and gloss effects of different samples with chromatograph and drew conclusions by comparing data with standards.
