Relocated to head up the first in-region Gutor sales and service office for ANZ & PNG accounts valued at A$5m. Quickly established brand presence and business model, building relationships and critically evaluating market data to identify potential opportunities. As technical expert, producing highly tailored solutions for new clients and value-add solutions for installed base to extend systems’ lifespan.

Responsible for driving sales pipeline from initial FEED through tendering, award and after sales,resulting in annual sales of +A$8m. Prepared techno-commercial proposals. Designed highly customizedsolutions, liaising closely with R&D and project teams to meet and exceed customer requirements /expectations. Spent 50% of time visiting customers to attend technical clarification meetings and closedeals, as well as conducting technical product training and seminars.

Developed marketing and business plan for African market providing technical support and building client data base across Nigeria, Angola, South Africa, and Egypt. Conducted education and promotion to position Gutor as a viable market leader. Shared sales expertise with other country managers in the ME to expand and strengthen market positioning.

Recruited by Schneider from University for 9 month engineer training program. Joined technical projectsteam (solution architecture) specializing in complex project level 3 for O&G projects. Handled projectsfrom tender through to execution as per project schedule and eventual handover to client.
