L Marks is an early-stage investor and innovation consultancy that collaborated with prominent brands like BMW, IAG, and Arsenal Football Club to identify business challenges and find startups that could provide solutions.As a Scouting Manager, I worked closely with our partners to facilitate landscaping sessions that pinpointed specific challenges and developed scouting briefs to deliver innovative technology solutions. I also presented these solutions to our clients. In this role, I supported a team dedicated to scouting and engaging with innovative startups. By fostering global partnerships and organizing industry events, we successfully enhanced our talent pipeline and contributed to the success of numerous accelerator programs.I was responsible for building and implementing new scouting strategies to bring efficiency and autonomy to the team. Additionally, my role involved establishing positive connections across the ecosystem to expand our network of strategic partnerships

Following our success with startup partnership programmes like JLAB for John Lewis and Last Mile Labs for DPD, we’re growing the team that scouts for startups.My role was to identify and establish relationships with market-leading startups and connect them with relevant opportunities with relevant corporate businesses. I worked with 11 brands including Arsenal Football Club, International Airlines Group, BMW and EDF Energy and scouted globally to meet corporate strategy-based briefs – regularly identified up to 500 startups per brief and received up to 400 applications for individual programmes.

London based accelerator that solved big business challenges by sourcing the best startups and take their technology to trial market. My role involved understanding corporate brands needs and digging down to assessing their requirements. I've worked with incredible brands such as Google, Jaguar, Unilever, IPSOS Mori, and more and was responsible for ensuring that our process worked brilliantly and that our accelerator programmes resulted in successful trials. Of 13 brands I worked with in this role, I helped to successfully take 3 projects to market and as of my leaving the company, 9 others were still ongoing.
