My interest has always been in learning and education whether it be self-directed, direct teaching, organising educational programmes or facilitating teams. My working experience has been in the healthcare setting in primary care and various roles it encompasses in the public and private sector, in UK and overseas. The individual face to face role as well as having to work in teams, particularly in quality improvement, coaching and mentoring has given me an excellent grounding in how to help people reflect on their career progression and achieve their goals and ambitions in their working and non-working lives – an essential balance for us all to thrive.
