Hey, my name is Mina Assad. I am an Egyptian immigrant who came to the US in 2017 and became a citizen in 2023. I came here to start a new life and explore one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world.I am a cybersecurity analyst and engineer with a CompTIA CySA+ certification and a bachelor’s degree in engineering science with a specialization in computer engineering. I chose the cybersecurity path to learn about the intricate details that make our technology work and to combat cyber threats.During my academic journey, I acquired skills in object-oriented programming (OOP), Assembly, C/C++, Python, and microcontroller programming. Through the Per Scholas cybersecurity course, I gained experience in creating and securing networks, configuring routers and switches, vulnerability management, threat analysis, debugging systems and networks, and shell programming.As our future explorers navigate the vast digital landscape, I pledge to protect the internet with my cybersecurity expertise: "In brightest screens, in the darkest sites, no hacker shall escape my sight.
