EPP Group is the largest political group in the European Parliament representing centre-right policies to promote growth and a more integrated Europe. My role in the Press and Communications department is to ensure that Social Media is integrated in the media mix. I develop our online presence and implement strategies for outreach. This involves defining campaigns, content production, working with our graphic team and general project management. The Social Media Team also provides support and practical advice for the EPP Group MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) in for example drafting Twitter strategies, optimizing the Facebook presence and using online channels in the media mix.I also develop social media friendly videos for the press service. It's one of the projects I love the most, as I get to move around a lot, meet and talk to people and capture their ideas. Video as an asset is and will remain the most valuable asset online. However, unless it's not content that engage people - the investment is a loss. Café le fil du Rasoir is a modern french steakhouse located in the heart of Malmö, in the premises of the esteemed Elite Hotel Savoy. Working as a bartender in one of Malmö's most beautiful settings makes mixing cocktails and serving drinks a pure art of joy. Customers are mixed with locals and international hotel guests or tourists happening to be passing by. Fridays are ever so popular with the after-work crowd welcoming the weekend with a Sazerac or two.

Those were the days when the sunny side of southern Sweden was spinning the tunes and serving stylish piña coladas as the waves outside were soothing the youngsters playing volleyball on the beach..

Curiosity about another industry - I took to a pharmaceutical company. This department managing doses of pills for hospitalized patients or others in need of regular doses. Charging machines with pills whenever they were finishing and checking the accuracy of doses.

Responsible for a team of 8 people serving the region of Malmö. This was the hunting department - calling and getting prospects interested enough to join for a face to face meeting. Team spirits, Scheduling, Trainings.
