Hello! I'm Mina Rafla and I've recently completed a PhD at Orange Innovation (Lannion, France) and the University of Caen (Caen, France). Throughout my doctoral research, I focused on designing new machine learning algorithms specifically for estimating heterogeneous treatment effects. My aim was to accurately estimate the impact of marketing campaigns on client buying behavior.In pursuit of this goal, I developed several data preprocessing techniques tailored to this unique problem. Additionally, I designed new machine learning algorithms—such as Bayesian decision trees and random forests—to address these challenges effectively. The culmination of my work resulted in multiple research publications and in the creation of 'Kuplift,' an open-source Python library encompassing all these innovative algorithms. In addition to my PhD, I hold a master's degree in data science and a bachelor degree in computer engineering.
