My family and I have been spreading love and coffee for as long as I can remember. I am a third-generation coffee farmer who was born in the verdant hills of Minas Gerais. My story is as rich and complex as the aromatic beans that I have spent a lifetime cultivating. From the time I was just five years old, I have worked alongside my family, tending to the coffee plants that have been a part of our heritage for generations. My hands were calloused by the time I was a teenager and my mind was filled with the knowledge passed down from my forefathers about the intricacies of growing, harvesting, and roasting coffee.As I grew older, I realized that my passion for coffee extended far beyond the confines of my family's farm. I dreamed of sharing the beauty and complexity of specialty coffee with the world, and so I set out on a journey that would take me across the ocean to the United States.Here, I founded not one, but two roasting companies that would become renowned for their commitment to quality and sustainability. I pour my heart and soul into every cup of coffee that we brew—my dedication to the craft is evident in every sip.Driven by a desire to help other farmers like myself, I simultaneously devoted myself to creating a network of coffee growers and suppliers who shared my vision for a better, more equitable coffee industry. I taught them how to grow and roast coffee that was worthy of the specialty label, and I worked tirelessly to connect them with consumers who were eager to experience the unique flavors and aromas of their harvest.Through it all, I remain rooted in the soil of my ancestral farm. My heart beats with the rhythm of our land.
