Hi, I have multiple decades of experience in the Life Sciences & Healthcare industries. I have been at the nexus of technology and regulations throughout my life, bringing people together from these two apparently divergent perspectives.As a result of this unique background, my approach to problem solving and leading teams is very pragmatic and solutions oriented. I was the Compliance Officer at Vineti, a tech startup in the life science and healthcare industry, leading a team of around 30 people, ensuring Security & Quality for Vineti’s products. I also served as the interim head of Platform Operations here managing a portfolio of diverse projects. - During my tenure here, I turned around Vineti’s security & quality posture such that customer acceptance of our quality management systems & security practices transformed from < 50% to 100%. - I successfully bridged a tech startup’s agile/rapid development practices in a cloud first environment with the Biopharma customer’s compliance expectations. - I also drove multiple initiatives such that the delivery for multiple time sensitive customers both in the clinical & commercial cell & gene therapy markets was not in jeopardyPrior to Vineti, I was the Head of Solutions at USDM Lifesciences, a premier consulting firm to the life science industry.- I was at the forefront of new solutions at USDM, diversifying from traditional services towards products & programs like cloud assurance (maintaining continuous compliance of cloud solutions) and Service X (rapid, agile development of workflow solutions for the life sciences in a compliant way).- I helped B2B software vendors like Oracle, Box, PTC, DocuSign, ServiceMax, EMC, OpenText etc. with their go to market strategies in the Lifesciences. The whiteboard exercise with one of Box founders became the foundation of Box’s Lifescience solutions and was rooted in cloud assurance principles.- During my stint at USDM, I consulted with many Fortune 500, mid-size and startup Biotech pharmaceutical and medical device companies, building a reputation as an industry expert in technology & compliance.Prior to USDM, I was at ValiMation, where I led the development of niche products for the lifesciences as well as set up an offshore development office in India, led a West Coast USA branch for the firm
