Due to Coronavirus, my therapy sessions are now conducted via HIPPA compliant teletherapy or by phone. I have training and experience working with clients who have had or are currently experiencing trauma and am welcoming front line workers to contact me for support during this difficult time.I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and their families. I partner with my clients in helping them to recognize and use their strengths to overcome challenges they are facing, whether it be anxiety, depression, peer pressure, school issues, changing family issues, parenting, grief, or trauma. I am a nationally certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist. I also have completed training to work with military families and understand their unique circumstances. I incorporate expressive arts in my counseling, such as play, art, sandtray and narrative. I also use mindfulness based approaches to help my clients become more in-tune with their emotions and the world around them.
