Assist the Office of Public Health Practice at SLU’s College of Public Health and Social Justice. Tasks include:- coordinate with other public facing groups within SLU to boost visibility in the community- work with Marketing staff to create social media content for the College- support OPHP operations of the St. Louis Academic Health Dept.

- connect to healthcare professionals who make mental health referrals to grow incoming clientele- launch first IOP (intensive outpatient program) at the organization, collaborating with owner, CEO, and Clinical Director.- promote programs in community at health and resource fairs

I was part of the Spring 2023 Emerging Leaders cohort at FOCUS where we learned and discussed pressing issues facing St. Louis. For the CAP project, I served as Coordinator and Presenter. Our group worked with Thomas Dunn Learning Center to create a Civics station in their lobby complete with books, voter registration, a video, and engaging looping media on their TV. We provide information on the structure of government, how it is supposed to respond to citizen and resident needs, and how they can impact their community.

Build coordinated care networks of health and social care organizations through bringing all onto a shared technology platform for St. Louis, MO.● Create and implement a community engagement plan, including live information sessions, email, and phone calls.● Research key organizations to determine best use cases for joining the network to assist in engagement activities.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams from customer success to sales to operations to ensure optimal outcomes.● Key successes include: ○ Of Missouri’s 694 Organizations and 1,903 programs, my 16 counties have 428 locations and 1,242 programs (Jan 2023) ○ Lead partner adoption in the region and state: Central region = 20.6%, Missouri = 38.2%, STL region = 43.1%, and Bootheel = 47.8% ○ Assisting with first ever Manual Payments pilot including weekly user training, regular user troubleshooting, interfacing with customer to address network concerns. This work was featured in 2020 end-of-year internal summit ○ Mentoring new CEMs for peer support in launching their respective networks. Mentees have led the successful launch of Unite Illinois, and supported Unite Pennsylvania and Unite NYC expansions.

• Connected with community organizations and developed partnerships addressing social determinants of health. Included grant relationships and pilot program development. Managed all pieces from introduction to check presentation and public relations (PR).• Created matrix to track various data pieces to determine the partnership and investment strategies.• Hosted focus groups in targeted communities to gain understanding of their specific needs.• Make own travel arrangements (plane, train, rental car, hotel) according to set company policies.• Nominated for Phenomenal Women in Technology Award, Aug. 2018.

- Visit community organizations and leaders to assist with Aetna Medicaid RFP responses in various states. Relay all research to the corporate grant writing team.- Assist with setting up the new state programs after RFP is awarded including staff training.- Participate in community outreach activities to educate the broader community about managed care.- Organize, attend and present at business, community and neighborhood group meetings in regards to brand recognition and plan benefits.
