I am an engineer by trade. I have my Engineer-In-Training certificate from the Nevada Board of Engineers and Surveyors. I have worked as an engineer in the design realm and the compliance realm. I have gained experience in project management, project design, material selection, design calculations, record review, maintenance scheduling, and audits. I enjoy working in groups, but I am good at managing my own work load and schedule. I enjoy seeing projects from design to completion to operation and maintenance. Outside of my trade, I am passionate about education. I believe that every one, of all ages, should take advantage of educational opportunities. I am currently working on my Masters in Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno, and I am enjoying working new muscles in my brain. I find that I get so excited about the topics I learn in class that I want to share these ideas with my coworkers, friends, family, and anyone else who will discuss them with me. I have always had this passion about education ingrained in my personality. I also spend some time helping my friend who has a photography business with some of her marketing. In return, she his helping me learn how to use my digital SLR camera. I enjoy being able to capture a particular memory to enjoy for years to come.I want to play my role in helping shape the future leaders of this world.
