More than 15 years as a photographer means I can (and usually do) take on any gig the world throws my way, from engagements, to family, to lifestyle and brand photography. Unique challenges thrill me, and I look for any opportunity to try my hand at something new, all while keeping my love of a candid, organic shooting style at the forefront. When it's time to set the camera aside, I roll out my yoga mat as a certified RYT and RYPT instructor, specializing in vinyasa, prenatal, and baby + me classes. My passion lies in yoga as therapy, be it physical or emotional, and finding that perfect playlist to "drop in" at any given moment. In addition to running a small business, I've perfected my communication skills after 8 years as a journalist and industry editor at S&P Global, as well as an executive assistant with Third Way. As Board Chair of Collective Action for Safe Spaces, I successfully raised or helped raise more than $25,000 through donor solicitation, online giving campaigns and events. During my two years as a member of the District Karaoke management staff, I became well-versed in event planning, as well as the needs of small businesses.
