Mindy Baiada founded Greyhound Girls, a dynamic and inclusive theatrical platform that empowers children, young people and adults through diverse storytelling, representation and visibility. From time of its 2023 launch, Greyhound Girls has served on Michael Arden’s co-producing team for Parade (2023 Tony Award Winner “Best Revival of a Musical”). She is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of her work. Mindy aims to empower women and underrepresented communities, providing opportunities committed to projects that excite audiences and investors alike, with a dedication to storytelling in its most pertinent and poetic form. At the heart of the company is a dedication to Arts Education. Mindy Baiada lived in New York for years working as an actor from dinner theatres in the Midwest to Broadway and National Tours. This was all data collection for her next professional step as a producing arts educator, and arts advocate. Having also founded Music Theatre Philly, a non-profit theatre school she is committed to high quality access to arts education in disciplines of music, dance, and theatre. Over the last eight years Mindy has produced over 25 productions featuring children ages 5-18. Through the outreach program she created countless scholarship opportunities for children in the greater Philadelphia area. Mindy’s humble upbringing has inspired her to ensure that MTP’s programming is accessible to all regardless of financial abilities. Mindy knows that the survival of the wonderful industry of theatre depends on the next generation of theatre lovers.
