Oversee operations, fiscal management and staffing of the Arlington Housing Authority and its programs and activities including the Housing Choice Voucher program, Family Self-Sufficiency Program, numerous homeless grant programs other programs funded by HUD's Community Planning and Development grants. Provide support in the area of affordable housing to the City of Arlington's Community Development and Planning Department in the role of Assistant Director.

Also responsible for strategic planning, financial planning/analysis and daily operatons. Support President in fundraising, grant writing, and program development. Supervise housing counselors, accounting staff and program staff.

Operations Manager (2009-2013)Responsible for overall operations of the Arlington Housing Authority including program development, and grant and program management, budget development, internal and external reporting and compliance with applicable regulations. Extremely proficient in written and verbal communication with internal and external customers ranging from City Council and elected officials to homeless individuals.Responsibilities include policy design and implementation, managing information technology needs for program and operational efficiencies, preparing and analyzing data, applying for, and implementing new grant funded activities. Responsible for achieving programmatic results and reporting same both internally and externally. Programmatic responsibility includes a variety of affordable housing and homeless programs.Grant Coordinator (2005-2008)Responsible for the budget, project management, and implementation of federally funded, multi-year, multi-million dollar grants. Financial Analyst/Loan Officer (2003-2005)Responsible for portfolio management and collection of three revolving loan programs and oversight of grant funded affordable housing projects.

Responsible for reviewing the commercial loan portfolio on the basis of repayment ability, pricing considerations, and compliance with bank policy and state and federal regulations. Reported to senior bank officers and the board of directors on the quality of the loan portfolios.During the 1990's I took time away from my career to have children; however, during this time, I obtained my master's degree in managment. To make my coursework more relevant, I returned to the workforce for a short period of time.

Proficient in all aspects of bank examinations, including but not limited to reviews of loan portfolios, compliance with laws and regulations, analysis of bank earnings, capital structure, liquidity position and evaluations of key management personnel. Reported findings orally and through written reports to bank management, boards of directors, and state regulatory boards.

Conducted Examinations of Farm Credit System institutions with responsibilities and duties similar to those described above.
