Lead Technician since 2010, designed and implemented automated cycle fill program, maintained and overhauled all Medicare B billing. Trained new employees and interns sent from corporate office. Swiftly and accurately input prescriptions, calculate dosages, process claims, dispense prescriptions for approval by pharmacists. Research and resolve dosage conflicts, potentially harmful drug interactions, insurance issues and other matters to ensure patient safety/wellness and build customer loyalty. Maintains inventory, placing orders through Mckesson and company warehouse, and stocks automated dispensing unit (ScriptPro robot) while following company standards of practice and pharmacist direction.

Primary responsibility was ensuring all medication orders for two involuntary facilities were entered and filled, refilled or changed depending on daily orders, as well as ensuring these same orders were bubble packed and sent with delivery driver nightly to those facilities.Additional responsibilities included inputting new prescriptions/refills/changes, faxing transfers/refill requests, bottle counts, packing medications in compliance packaging (bubble packs, salad packs, dispill), inventory, placing nightly order through Cardinal, customer service, answering the phone, running daily reports and mailing out medications to clients using stamps.com. Performed all duties assigned to Lead Technician while Lead was out of the office. Also conducted training for new employees.
