As founder of Healthwell, I defined integrated care as the cornerstone of my practice. It includes merging an understanding of the musculoskeletal system with the more complex nervous system and visceral system. Manual therapy and movement re-education are the tools needed, and this is where our team excels.As a team, we skillfully guide patients from physical dysfunction, often expressed through pain, into better health, helping them continue their journey with improved lifestyle habits and posture. Understanding the elusive nature of fascia and alignment, and how that impacts balance, is a large part of our educational efforts. I am personally passionate about continuing education for myself and our team. Healthwell’s extraordinary clinicians and support staff, collectively, bring specialized knowledge about health and healing to our patients for efficient and meaningful outcomes.

Fulltime clinical practice in Marin County, working on-staff in outpatient sports medicine, seeing primarily athletes who were both non-surgical and post surgical. We provided Pilates rehabilitation before it became mainstream, and were early proponents of active lifestyles.

Consultant to an MRI manufacturer's start up team working on open bore, cine, MRI research with devices for the cervical spine, shoulder, and knee. My job was to facilitate information collection from the collaborating orthopedic surgeons, work with them at their various individual facilities around the country, and write white papers that would help create interest in this particular application to MRI.

Participated as one of three start-up team members hired by a National for- profit hospital chain . With a CEO and Orthopedic surgeon, from the ground up, we built and opened a 21 M hospital that serviced acute rehabilitation patients. In my position, I opened contracts for these services with local and national insurers, established and grew relationships within the medical community, and spearheaded outreach to those who would benefit from the specialized services provided. I also developed communication tools for multilevel outreach that were easy handles to understand our business.

As Director of Rehab Services within French Hospital, one of the several culturally distinct non- profit hospitals that once existed in San Francisco, I was responsible for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy Departments, including hiring and firing, program development and promotion, clinical education and operations. I also developed and started- up their separate sports medicine unit called Active Care Sports Medicine Center.
