With over 9 years of nursing experience, I am a passionate and skilled clinical nurse supervisor at Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW), a rural health community clinic that serves diverse and underserved populations. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on family practice, as I aspire to advance my career and provide holistic and compassionate care to my patients and community. I value teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning, and I strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for my clinical staff and providers.As the clinical nurse supervisor at CHCW, I am responsible for managing the daily operations and workflows of the clinic, ensuring quality patient care and safety, and overseeing the training and development of the clinical support staff. I also work closely with the resident physicians, faculty, and other advanced practice clinicians (APCs) to provide guidance, feedback, and mentoring. Some of the skills that I use and enhance in this role include patient advocacy, triage nursing, medication administration, chart reviews, de-escalation, communication, and leadership. I enjoy the variety and challenge of my job, as well as the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my patients and colleagues.
