While tackling the HR CORPORATE world by storm the last 8 years, I got the unique experience to partner with CEOs, COO's, and senior leaders to plan, strategize and develop the right talent at each organization, at every level. As many do in HR, after college I began my career in staffing where I got to harness my recruiting talents to identify talent and build relationships. After staffing, I joined a mid-sized company that grew quickly through acquisitions, working directly with the CEO, senior leaders, and non-exempt employees. I oversaw onboarding and new employee engagement all while creating policies. After 4 years, I was ready for my next challenge and made the decision to join a start-up in downtown Portland. With this smaller crew, and new technology I partnered with the founder to develop and structure the executive team. Have you heard the phrase "When opportunity is knocking, don't let it pass by." After a couple of years working for the start-up, I was given the opportunity to work at a very large organization, handling union negotiations, contracts and leading an HR team, before the pandemic hit.
