Member of the firmware team responsible for writing the multithreaded Theadx based code used on SEL’s power quality meters. This code is written in C, C++ and PowerPC assembly. Involved in all phrases of a new project including design, development, code reviews, debugging, unit testing and functional testing.

• Generated one third of FS2’s annual revenue developing new features for and maintaining multiple debugger products: Actel, Actel Arm, 8051 (Actel, Cast, Mentor, Philips and Handshake), Altera, Geode, ez80, Tasking and.
• Implemented new features for the MIPS debugger including reconstruction and post processing of captured processor trace data and writing assemblers/ disassemblers.
• Responsible for the entire Altera Nios II project which earned half of the FS2’s annual revenue in 2003.
• Worked with engineers from Altera and ATI (Mentor Graphics) to coordinate getting FS2’s debug block working with ATI’s code|lab debugger on the Altera test vehicle.
• Designed and developed a driver that interfaced with Altera's Quartus JTAGserver that converted the JTAG bit stream from the FPGA programming into byte streams executed by the FS2 probe.
• Implemented Windows USB drivers and services in support of the FS2 probe.

Implemented processor trace reconstruction for 68030, 68360, 68340, 80186, 86386, 86486, Pentium, P2 and other processors for Microtek in-circuit emulators. Converted the existing front end to use Microsoft Visual ++/MFC. Used Actor to develop a Windows GUI interface for the next generation emulator. Implemented firmware using C under a real-time.
