Astronauts4Hire is creating the first pool of private astronauts to fill the need for qualified scientist-astronauts to conduct research in space. Our goal is to provide opportunities for students and professionals to develop and refine the skills needed to improve their competitiveness as potential commercial astronauts, to provide opportunities for those individuals to communicate with each other and the general public, and to provide opportunities for those individuals to gain exposure to potential employers.

• Created Shell Gas and Power’s C02 strategic business plan, enabling the business to systematically address energy efficiency and carbon management across its projects and ventures. * Advised business globally across four main specialist areas: Sustainable Development, Social Performance, environment, and C02 management.• Incorporated “non-technical risks” management into key project management systems by ensuring smooth project delivery. This led to a reduction in project delays with savings of 20-25% of capital costs. • Visited LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) construction and wind farm sites to understand local stakeholder issues. Spoke with members of the local communities to create alignment between the project and community objectives. Optimized social performance by using Social Investment and Integrated Impact Assessments as tools.

• Integrated Sustainable Development (SD) into key decision making processes in project teams and the project lifecycle. Embedding SD integration earlier in the project decision-making, ensured smooth project delivery and prevented capital cost value erosion. • Tasked with bringing about a culture change in the organization towards a more "sustainable mindset” by coaching and influencing senior leaders and project managers to attend the SD Master class, that I designed, and ran and to apply the concepts from the course into their daily work.

• Designed and delivered workshops across Shell businesses to senior leaders within Operating Units to facilitate their knowledge and practice on Diversity and Inclusiveness. • Provided personal coaching of senior leaders on their behaviors towards others who were different from them in order to help them discover for themselves their own personal "diversity journey".

• Owned and executed ergonomic redesign of the control rooms and facilities on offshore oil installations (Champion 7, Draugen and Fulmar Alpha Platforms). • Developed human factors policy and implemented human factors techniques and principles on engineering projects in refineries, onshore gas plants, and offshore oil platforms within Shell worldwide. • Designed and delivered Human Factors Engineering training modules to be delivered in several countries: Nigeria, Norway, Japan, Malaysia, Brunei, Scotland, Netherlands and Gabon.
