About Mindy Huelle, Lcsw

Mindy Huelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker new to the Charlotte area. She earned her B.S.W. from University of South Florida, majoring in Social Work and minoring in Business Management. After college Mindy Huelle worked with children and families. She then went on to obtain her M.S.W. from University of South Florida's School of Social Work. Her professional experience inludes 15 years of working with children, adolescents and adults, in individual, couple, group therapy, family therapy. She enjoys training other mental health professionals and facilitating workshops on such topics as family therapy, anger management, stress management, mindfulness, marriage seminars, substance abuse, and relationships/intimacy. She has worked extensively with adolescents/adults who have experienced childhood trauma. Mindy also served adoptive families on the Board of Directors for the Sylvia Thomas Center. Currently in her role as behavioral health therapist supervisor for DHS/UCPS collaborative she supports clinical staff providing school based therapy. The program provides therapy for students with clinical needs in a school setting and collaborates with the school social worker, teachers, school personnel and other relevant individuals to support the needs of the students.
