Creative, forward thinking problem solver. I aim to spread glycobiology throughout biomedical research by providing tools and techniques for non-specialists. My love of research began as an undergraduate in Dr. Randy Blakely's lab at Emory and has grown over the past 14 years in Dr. Michael Tiemeyer's lab at the CCRC. My scientific tool box is diverse including molecular biology, biochemistry, Drosophilla work, cell based technologies, software development and mass spectrometry. I am currently focused on developing tools and workflows for high throughput glycan MS data analysis. I enjoy riding my dirt bike, eating sushi, running and spending time with my family. I recently completed my 1st marathon.
