An accomplished leader with over 35 years of experience in the expert witness referral, litigation support and legal services industry. Most recently my focus has been Legal Technology and how to utilize AI in expert witness search and retention.The former President and CEO at The TASA Group, an expert witness provider in Blue Bell, PA, my career at TASA began in 1984 and extended for more than three decades. Over thirty years at TASA, I led the marketing, sales, and operations teams. I have personally located expert witnesses on tens of thousands of cases throughout the world. Prior to serving as President/CEO, I served as the Executive VP of Operations, helping to establish the company's expert referral team as leaders in providing expert witnesses worldwide. Under her leadership, The TASA Group received numerous "Best Of" awards from legal publications.Instrumental in leading TASA as it introduced new products for the legal community, such as challenge history reports, expert witness profiles, and data/cyber security services. She has strong connections within the legal community and extensive experience building strategic partnerships with legal associations and legal vendors that improve service to clients. In 2016, Melinda was named a “Woman of Distinction” by the Philadelphia Business Journal in recognition of her professional accomplishments.In December 2017, Melinda was honored to be named to the list: The Year of Women in Legal Tech, in LawSites Blog, for her work developing an expert witness search and retention marketplace.
